You can use the camera alone or attached to virtually any MICROSCOPE or telescope that have C-MOUNT lenses. It comes with a 28mm, 34mm and custom 10X microscope adapter eyepieces. This camera has a built-in microphone and is ideal for video microscopy; video telescope surveillance and astronomy; presentations; demonstrations; recording student progess; distance learning; industrial inspection; etc. - all with high resolution optics. It's also the recommended camera of one of the largest gem dealers associations! It can be connected to any device that accepts S-VIDEO, BNC or standard RCA audio and video input, such as VCRs, TVs, LCD projectors and Mac or PC computer Video Capture Cards. You can also use it to capture still frames or make digital video with the optional VIDEO CAPTURE CARD or other video frame grabbers. Use it as a video conferencing station with the optional Enhanced CUSeeMe internet videoconferencing software. The StudentCam (tm) is made by VideoLabs, Inc. Note, the model N2500S1 supercedes model N0600S1. The N0600S1 had the "snap & click" cable and had a different camera module.
